Topaz Video AI has no free export tier. The trial lets you process and preview, but you cannot save a clean output without a paid license. There is nothing to legally monetize for free, so the question becomes whether the cheapest paid plan covers you. It does, for solo creators.

FLUX ships as multiple variants with different licenses. FLUX.1 [schnell] is Apache-2.0 and fully clean for commercial use. FLUX.1 [dev] is under a non-commercial model license: you cannot use the dev model itself in revenue-generating activity, even though its license explicitly lets you use the generated images commercially. Running dev on a random free playground for monetized work means relying on that host's license, not your own.

Two different 'free' paths with opposite rules. The Gemini consumer app / AI Studio UI is free and Google's main Terms of Service say 'Your content remains yours', so you keep ownership and can monetize outputs. BUT the Gemini API free tier is a different beast: Google's API terms say the unpaid tier is 'for developers building... for professional or business purposes, not for consumer use,' Google trains on your free-tier prompts/outputs, and the pricing page lists NO free tier for the image model (image gen is paid-only on the API). Every Gemini-generated image also carries an invisible SynthID watermark. None of this blocks YouTube monetization of an image you made in the app, but the API free tier is not a clean commercial path, hence safeOnFree:false until you understand which door you walked through.

There is no free tier at all, Midjourney ended free trials in April 2023, so you must pay before you can generate or monetize anything.

Seedance is a model, not a consumer app with one free tier. ByteDance does not sell it directly. You reach it through Dreamina, Jimeng, CapCut or third party API resellers, and each of those wraps free output in its own terms: Dreamina and Jimeng watermark free output, CapCut can add one on AI or Pro-template clips, and all reserve commercial use for paying users. There is no Seedance-branded free plan whose license lets a channel publish.

Treblo's own FAQ and Terms state it places NO usage restrictions on songs you create and that whatever rights exist in the output belong to you, not Treblo, even on the free tier, with downloads in all formats. That is an unusually creator-friendly stance, making it one of the few genuinely free-tier-monetizable options. The remaining caveat is that the dedicated Terms page is JS-gated, so the exact Section 8 wording wasn't quotable verbatim.

The free tier exports clean, watermark-free designs and Magic Media AI images you may use commercially, but a faceless creator can still trip the 'no standalone Content' rule and AI output isn't copyright-protected in many countries, so it's mostly safe, not automatically clean.

Loudly's Free plan is explicitly labeled 'Non-commercial use' on the pricing page, and the License Agreement grants the commercial/monetization license 'exclusively under the Paid Subscription plans,' so free-tier music cannot be used in monetized videos.

The Stability AI Community License lets you use the models commercially for free, but only while you or your organization generate under USD $1M in annual revenue. Photoroom's own Terms grant free accounts a license for personal, non-commercial purposes only, and free exports carry a Photoroom watermark.

Its Terms of Service explicitly let you use Outputs for your own commercial purposes and confirm you retain full ownership and copyright, a genuinely strong, primary-sourced commercial-use position. The 'trained only on licensed data / commercially safe' claim, however, lives in marketing/press, not in the ToS we reached.

PicLumen's own pricing FAQ states plainly that all images and videos you generate can be used for commercial purposes (subject to its Terms), and that PicLumen does not claim ownership of generated outputs. That's a clear, primary-source green light for monetization, with the important caveat that others' public creations may not be reused commercially.

StarryAI's published License page is unusually clear for a free tier: it states the creator owns the copyright, commercial use is allowed, and no permission or attribution is required. Daily free images come without watermarks, which is rare at this price.

The public pricing page states the Free plan gives 150 credits with limited model access and up to 720p export, while 'No watermark and full commercial rights' is an explicitly listed benefit of the paid Creator plan ($21/mo annual, $25 monthly), which strongly implies the free tier is NOT cleared for watermark-free commercial use.

DeepAI's own site states it gives you full ownership of everything you create, which is creator-favorable, but this appears in marketing copy on the homepage rather than a reachable Terms/license page, so the binding commercial grant is only partly confirmable.

Free tier exists (15 conversion minutes) but with 0 download minutes, so you cannot export anything for free; commercial use is not clearly granted on the free tier and depends on per-voice license terms.

Pika contradicts itself: pricing page lists Commercial use on free Basic, but ToS/FAQ say Basic and Standard are non-commercial. Pro is the only unambiguous commercial tier.

Binding Terms restrict free output to personal, non-commercial use, so free is dead for monetization

HunyuanVideo is open weights under the Tencent Hunyuan Community License. Commercial use is granted royalty free, and the only scale trigger is 100 million monthly active users, which no normal creator will hit. The real catch is geographic: the license expressly does not apply in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or South Korea. If you operate from those territories, you are not covered.

The free plan stamps a watermark on every export, and Wondershare's own help docs state you cannot monetize without a commercial license. So the free tier is for testing, not publishing.

The free offering is a one-time 7-day, 3-minute trial that auto-trims videos and (per multiple third-party reports) stamps a watermark on output, making free results unusable for monetized faceless content.
